We are already starting to plan our next Fundraiser in Miami in September, so stay tuned for more information. ![]() Thank you so much to our sponsors for helping us make the Fundraising Party on March 28th in Los Angeles a success! We reached our goal: a 3-day shoot in Miami (we are planning for May). We had 93 guests in attendance (the capacity of the theatre was 100!), and there was a great mix of Cubans (including several Bay of Pigs veterans) and Industry people ranging from documentarians to production designers. The music by Duo de Dos was fabulous, and I was especially excited when they played my favorite Cuban classic "Son de La Loma." There were some great raffle gifts, but the most coveted prize of the night was the Wine Basket from Kiwi Distributors. Many guests have emailed me with questions about where they can buy the wine and tequila served by Kiwi Distributors at the party (I didn't try the tequila, but I wish I had! I heard it was "extremely smooth" and "better than Patron"). Visit their website for more information on where to buy their delicious wines and spirits! Click Here for Kiwi's Website. Stay tuned for future fundraising events: Miami in the fall, plus an online crowd-funding campaign coming up in a couple months. Check out some photos from the event below....And if you haven't already, Please "Like" us on Facebook and Follow us on Twitter. |
